Develop test plans in accordance with IEC/UL standards. Ensure release in PLM system per project plan. Creates CAD drawings- detailing, 3D models, Assemblies etc. Design, validate and release systems, sub-systems and components independently. Develop and understand product requirements, perform conceptual design and complete system/component modelling to meet specific requirements. Owns end to end mechanical product design and development including product conceptualization, testing of products, design validation. Work in a cross functional/ multi-disciplinary team in making technology/ engineering decisions required for project execution and mentor a group of junior engineers in technical and process capability building relating to VA/VE. Participate in design reviews, both customer and internal as required Prepare Design proposals and documentation required to define & control products. Proficiency in DFSS/DMAIC/Lean Methodologies. Serve as technical domain expert in team - for Electromechanical, mechanical VAVE efforts, Single point of contact for technical liaison with VAVE projects involving significant X-functional contribution ( Testing, compliance,Procurement, SCM, Resourcing). Execution excellence - Leading efforts for the team for building cost out funnel/ opportunities in different products through bench marking, teardown, competitor analysis, functionality analysis,Strategic value analysis leveraging expertise in codes and standards, compliance and vlidation through testing and simulation experience preferred. Lead multiple projects/programs related to value analysis and value engineering (VAVE) through execution of these programs/projects in a timely manner, supporting the business goals and Profit Plan objectives. 
strong engineering acumen with enthusiasm in the product design and appilcation arena. Candidate should have strong communication skills, drive, significant hands-on experience in VAVE domain in the aspects of Engineering design and Porfolio management, a demonstrated history of working with Cross functional teams in driving VAVE at reputed organizations.Primary responsibility of this role is identification and hands on execution of cost savings projects through Value Analysis/Value Engineering (VA/VE), provide technical coaching, product/technology/process expertise to the team members of EIIC CBO VAVE team -in driving the overall CBO VAVE costout porfolio.
